    Combined spinal- epidural anesthesia for operating kidney stone and post- operative analgesia was carried out on 30 patients; the rate of good intraoperative anesthesia was 93.33%, the fast onset at T6 level was 4.60 ± 0.55 minutes; muscle were good flexible for surgical procedure. After operating, when VAS score (Visual Analogue Score) ≥ 4, bolus initiatory dose and maintain continuous infusion into the epidural catheter at the speed of 3 - 5 millilitres per hour. Resuts: onset analgesia was rapid, medium time was 5.53 ± 0.74 minutes, medium VAS score in 48 hours were 0.87 ± 0.66. The rate of patients felt no pain, slight pain and medium pain were 96.67%; 3.33% respectively. The side effect included quiver 20%, nausea and vomiting 10%, itchiness 6.67%, no respiratory inhibition.
