There were 82 patients with low rectal cancer undergone laparoscopic surgery from 2004 to Feb 2012 at 108 Hospital. The mean age was 55.4 ± 12.7. Results: 26/82 patients (31.7%) had Ty sphincter conservation with success, 52/82 patients (63.4%) undergone laparoscopic Miles operating, 4/82 patients (4,9%) undergone temporaty surgery, the rate of operative complication was 9.7% and postoperative complication was 10.9%, there were 7/27 patiens (25.9%) lossing sexual function.
