A prospective and descriptive study was conducted on 106 patients underwent retroperitoneal laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy from August, 2005 to May, 2011. Among them, 56,60% of patients were females and 43.40% males. The average time of the warm ischemia was 273.90 ± 84.81 seconds. Neither complication nor mortality was seen. All of grafts were well - functioned in the first hour of transplantation. The average serum creatinine of the remaining kidney was 1.10 ± 0.22 mg% compared with 0.86 ± 0.46 mg% before nephrectomy. Serum-creatinine levels of kidney recipients ranged 1.18 ± 0.21 mg%. The average hospital stay was still long (4.81 ± 1.17 days).
