A cross-sectional study was conducted on 2,318 people with disabilities (PWDs) in eight communes of 4 provinces/cities representing different geographic areas of the Red River Delta. Results: 72.7% of PWDs have accessed to medical services information. Accessing to information among PWDs varies depending on the type of medical intervention needed, region and type of disabilities. Among PWDs who are in need of medical intervention, the rate of PWD accessed to the service was 59.7%. The rates of PWDs who have accessed to necessary medical services vary according to the type of medical intervention, region, age and type of disabilities. There should be solutions to increase the rate of PWD and their families access to information about relevant disability services, especially for PWDs who are in need medical interventions; PWDs living in rural mountainous and the semimountainous areas; PWDs under 18 years and PWDs with speaking difficulty.
